Last week, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies hosted the mid-term meeting of the NeutraWeed project, bringing together researchers and partners from across the globe.

Organised by the Group of Agroecology, the meeting gathered 13 partner institutions from 9 countries across 4 continents, highlighting the project’s strong international and interdisciplinary dimension.

On the other hand, partners from Kenyatta University (Kenya), Zhejiang University (China), Cornell University (USA), AAPRESID - Argentine No-Till Farmers Association and FAUBA - School of Agriculture of Buenos Aires University (Argentina) participated online.

The meeting marked a key milestone for the project, an opportunity to reflect on progress achieved so far, and to define priorities for the next two years. Beyond that, it provided a valuable moment to strengthen partnerships, reinforce team spirit, and lay out the groundwork for future collaborations and secondments.

Special thanks go to all participants and to the project officer from the European Research Executive Agency, Dr Marina Royer, for her insightful feedback and guidance for the next phases of the project.
